Summer Blooms

Mark brought lilies (and roses!) home from the grocery today, and after sticking them in their vase, they just looked so lonely. Nobody likes lonely flowers, so I decided to spruce them up a bit with some additions from our yard. Voila! The blue and silver foliage and the purple flowers were just the thing to bring the whole vase to life!

The shrubs and trees here are amazing and beautiful! Everything blooms a shade of pink, purple, orange, or another fabulous color. (That's not even counting the wildflowers!) There's so many new plants that we're not used to, many of them overflowing in our backyard. Summer is here, yes it is...

I am jealous. All we have is mud and dead grass where the blow-up pool has already been "blown-up" and emptied too many times...Arkansas stinks!!

So pretty! The bouquet reminds me of the flowers my bff is using for her wedding next week.
